Lord Xun's Little Ancestor Is Wild and Fierce

Princess Jiang Li transmigrates into the body of an eight-year-old who has just been reclaimed by the Jiang family. The fake heiress Jiang Yue'er frames her for violence, and the biased parents lock her in a storage room.

The Jiang family discusses marrying Jiang Li off to the Zhao family's foolish son. She bursts in and denounces them for selling their daughter for profit, then asks Grandpa Jiang to give her a different father.

Jiang Li denounces her parents as unworthy. Grandma steps in and suggests she live with Grandpa Jiang. Impressed by her wit and filial piety, Grandpa Jiang asks her directly who she wants as her father, and her gaze shifts toward the door.

Jiang Li chooses Jiang Xun as her father in front of Grandpa Jiang. Her second uncle mocks Jiang Xun as a wastrel, but Jiang Xun shields her and fires back that the uncle would sell his own daughter to a fool. Jiang Xun takes her home, and Jiang Li privately thinks he resembles her former imperial father.

Jiang Xun, moved by Jiang Li's kneeling, orders Aunt Li to buy her a thousand outfits and prepare a princess room, vowing to indulge her every whim. Privately, Jiang Li calculates that Grandpa Jiang holds absolute power and resolves to seize the business empire herself. She asks Aunt Li about her mother and learns of Jiang Xun's obsession with crocodile fighting.

Jiang Li won't stop crying, so Jiang Xun frantically asks why. She mentions being kept from his sports cars and complains he prefers mahjong and crocodiles over her. He immediately orders Aunt Li to sell the cars and bar, discard the mahjong, and slaughter the crocodile for stew, just to win a smile.

Jiang Xun mourns his slaughtered crocodile but insists on eating the stew first. Jiang Li praises the meat's texture, and Jiang Xun boasts about his careful feeding regimen. Aunt Li relays Grandpa's request to see Jiang Li for dinner, but Jiang Xun tells him to wait and focuses on serving his daughter.

Jiang Li apologizes to Grandpa for being late, explaining that Jiang Xun slaughtered his beloved crocodile to feed her. Shocked, Grandpa demands to taste the meat and finds it delicious. Learning that Jiang Xun also gave up drinking and mahjong, Grandpa can hardly believe the change and gives Jiang Li a task with a promised reward.

Grandpa promises Jiang Li the Skylark Villa if she can make Jiang Xun appear presentable at his birthday banquet. Jiang Xun initially refuses but begins practicing his posture under Jiang Li's insistence. Meanwhile, Grandma and Yue'er plan to perform an expensive Great Feng Dynasty score at the banquet to outshine Jiang Li.

Jiang Xun arrives at the banquet in formal attire and shows off his new look to Jiang Li. Second Brother and the guests openly mock his past playboy reputation with cutting remarks. His transformation hits a wall before it even begins.

Jiang Xun shows off his new look at the banquet, and Jiang Li claims credit from Grandpa. Grandpa makes good on his promise and gives Jiang Li the deed to Skylark Manor, worth a billion. The guests are stunned by the lavish gift and realize Jiang Li holds serious weight with the patriarch.

Jiang Yue'er performs a fragment of the lost piece Cloud Beyond Clear Notes, claiming she practiced it daily from a remnant page. Jiang Li recognizes it as her own composition from the Great Feng Dynasty and finds the playing unbearable. When pressed, she produces the complete score as her gift to Grandpa.

Jiang Yue'er challenges Jiang Li's claim to have the full score, and Second Brother mocks her, betting he will stand on his head if she can play it. Before Master Sun and Grandpa, Jiang Li performs the complete piece, stunning everyone and humiliating Jiang Yue'er.

Master Sun confirms that Jiang Li played the lost piece Cloud Beyond Clear Tones, explaining its mystical effect on water. Grandpa praises his granddaughter, and Jiang Li presents the performance as a gift. Second Brother still doubts, but Master Sun points to the rippling water as proof, silencing him.

Master Sun asks Jiang Li to transcribe Cloud Beyond Clear Tones for the nation, and she agrees. Overjoyed, Grandpa gives her 10% of the Jiang Group shares and takes her to meet music masters. Seeing his position threatened, Second Brother secretly plans revenge.

A woman stops Jiang Xun in public, claiming she is pregnant with his child and begging him not to force an abortion. Jiang Xun denies knowing her while Second Brother fans the flames by bringing up an incident from nine years ago. The woman suddenly shows signs of bleeding and collapses.

The birthday banquet ends in chaos after the unknown woman miscarries. Grandpa Jiang furiously blames Jiang Xun for a similar scandal nine years ago and for this new disgrace. Jiang Xun insists he does not know the woman and refuses to apologize, so he is ordered to kneel before his mother's memorial tablet. Jiang Li declares her faith in her father's innocence, only to be scolded by Grandma.

Jiang Li challenges Grandma's certainty about Jiang Xun's guilt and points out that Second Uncle personally went to the hospital during a media crisis, which makes little sense. She reveals she has already sent Aunt Li to obtain a fetal sample for a paternity test, then apologizes and leaves with her father to reflect at the ancestral hall.

Seeing the paternity test results, Grandpa admits he wronged Jiang Xun but still brings up an incident from nine years ago and orders an investigation into the woman who framed him. In the ancestral hall, Jiang Li comforts her father, who laments that only his daughter has believed him in nine years and calls Grandpa blind and unjust.
