The Beloved Pregnant Wife Doted by Her Billionaire Husband

Ye Shengsheng confirms she is pregnant, though the father remains unknown. A doctor warns her of a serious future condition requiring about five million for optimal treatment, leaving her stunned.

Lu's father pulls a hair from Ye Xiaobao and demands a DNA test. The report shows an extremely high match, convincing him that Xiaobao is Lu Jincheng's son. He urges Lu Jincheng to bring the child back immediately.

Ye Shengsheng confronts the driver who hit Ye Xiaobao, presenting medical bills for fifty thousand yuan. The driver accuses her of staging an accident and refuses to pay. Nearby, Lu Jincheng continues searching for Xiaobao.

The driver stalls compensation, claiming insurance will take two months. Unable to wait, Ye Shengsheng reassures Ye Xiaobao that she has a job interview at Lu Group, hoping to ease their financial strain. Meanwhile, Lu Jincheng orders all ports and airports sealed to find the missing young master.

After paying for surgery, Ye Shengsheng has only thirteen yuan left and cannot afford a sausage for Ye Xiaobao. At Lu Group, the programmer position is filled, but she is offered a role as assistant to the CEO's secretary. She discovers her new superior is Song Xiya, who recognizes her and threatens to have her removed.

Song Xiya argues that Ye Shengsheng's six-year-old child makes her unfit for the assistant role. Ye Shengsheng admits it openly, but Li Mo hires her on the spot, revealing that Lu Jincheng has just learned he has a child and wants parenting advice from her. Song Xiya is stunned.

Lu Jincheng's father showers his soon-to-arrive grandson with toys, filling the villa and planning to expand it with a playground. Later, Lu Jincheng takes Ye Shengsheng to a mall, has every outfit for a six-year-old brought in, and asks her advice on children's clothing. Watching his patience, she thinks of how Xiaobao has never known a father's care.

Lu Jincheng selects a massive haul of children's clothes, discarding only three pieces and ordering the rest packed. Ye Shengsheng finds them too expensive and hopes to return them for cash to fund Xiaobao's rehabilitation, but learns they are custom-made and non-refundable. Learning that Xiaobao is sick and home alone, Lu Jincheng tells her to bring the child to the office tomorrow.

Ye Shengsheng brings Xiaobao to the office, where a colleague kindly offers him strawberry cake, unaware it contains mango and triggers an allergic reaction. Song Xiya storms over, scolds Ye Shengsheng for the noise, and publicly calls Xiaobao a bastard with no father. Lu Jincheng learns Xiaobao is in the office and goes to see him.

Song Xiya publicly accuses Ye Shengsheng of bringing her child to the office to freeload and scheme, mocking the idea that Xiaobao could be Lu Jincheng's son. When Song Xiya moves to discipline Xiaobao, Lu Jincheng arrives and orders her to stop.

Song Xiya locks Ye Xiaobao in a room and refuses to open the door despite Ye Shengsheng's pleas. Xiaobao suffers a severe allergic reaction and struggles to breathe, while Song Xiya orders her people to restrain Ye Shengsheng. Lu Jincheng arrives at the critical moment.

Lu Jincheng gives Xiaobao fast-acting allergy medicine, and his breathing steadies. Once her son is out of danger, Ye Shengsheng slaps Song Xiya and warns that if she ever harms Xiaobao again, she will drag her down even at the cost of her own life.

Song Xiya complains to Lu Jincheng about Ye Shengsheng bringing her child to the office. Li Mo admits Xiaobao had an allergic reaction after eating the strawberry cake she gave him, which contained mango. Lu Jincheng orders the surveillance footage from the break room, overriding Song Xiya's protests.

Lu Jincheng fires Song Xiya on the spot and docks the pay of two other employees. Song Xiya pleads by invoking their families' long-standing ties, but Lu Jincheng refuses. Ye Xiaobao's allergic pain worsens, and Ye Shengsheng and Lu Jincheng rush him to the hospital.
