Elf Prince, Father of My Child

Lyra learns she is pregnant with triplets and recalls being drugged with a love potion. Under its influence, she and elf prince Orlan become intimate, and he marks her as his fated mate after three hundred years of waiting.

Lyra dismisses the night as an accident and leaves despite Orlan's offer of a rare gem. She uses the money for her grandfather's medicine, but he notices a mark on her neck and demands to know if she slept with an elf.

While caring for her grandfather, Lyra is pulled aside by Priestess Aries. Aries questions whether Lyra's human boyfriend truly values her and suggests an elf would be a better match. Orlan arrives, and Aries turns her attention to pressuring her three-hundred-year-old son to marry and give her grandchildren.

While working at the tavern, Lyra is harassed by a group of elf men who try to force her to drink and threaten to assault her. She cries out for help, and just in time, Orlan arrives and demands to know who dares to touch her.

After learning Orlan is an elf prince, Lyra tells him she is only a half-elf and their worlds are apart. Orlan offers her another bag of rare gems if she will do it with him again. Thinking of her grandfather's healing ritual, Lyra agrees, calling it the last time.

Orlan brings Lyra to a high, secluded place and asks her to take the lead. After initial hesitation, she climbs on top and guides the encounter. Afterward, Orlan says she can lead next time, and Lyra declares she will take Alphus with her.

Lyra grows too exhausted to continue, and Orlan gently lets her rest and offers to escort her home. She refuses, fearing her grandfather's rage, and he gives her a token. Meanwhile, Alphus confirms Lyra is Orlan's true love, and Princess Cecilia appears.

Cecilia demands to know who has been near Orlan, enraged by a mixed-blood scent on him. He refuses her dinner invitation, and she vows to find her rival. Lyra tends to her recovering grandfather, realizes their money is gone, and is stunned when he asks if she is pregnant.

Lyra hides a mark on her neck from her grandfather, who warns her to stay away from elves. She receives an acceptance letter as a junior apprentice at the Arcane Academy and decides to quit her bar job. Orlan appears in a carriage, insists on giving her a ride, and abruptly asks her to live with him.

Lyra turns down Orlan's offer to live with him and reports to the Arcane Academy. Master Fex warns the apprentices about a royal visit, and the guest turns out to be Orlan. He singles out Lyra to demonstrate a scroll restoration, and she performs the magic with surprising skill.

Lyra falls ill during the scroll restoration demonstration, and Orlan calls for a break. Worried she has a serious illness, she seeks a priestess for an examination. Priestess Aries tells her she is pregnant with triplets, and a stunned Lyra asks if the pregnancy can be terminated.

Priestess Aries returns home and tells Orlan about Lyra's hardships, revealing she is pregnant with triplets and plans to end the pregnancy. Orlan is stunned to realize he is the father, and the termination ritual may already be underway.
