Dragon Knight's Reincarnation: Surpassing the Azure Sky

Briar kept her flight from going out the night before the trial, and they won. When Alina went alone and was maimed, the flight blamed Briar, killed her dragon Nova, and threw her off a cliff. Her father died trying to save her, but Nova's dying magic rewound time, giving Briar a second chance.

Briar finds herself alive on the night before the trial. When Alina invites the flight to her birthday party and the others mock her, Briar steps back and lets them go, choosing to watch them dig their own graves this time.

Briar tries to leave, but the others snatch her Royal Recruiter letter and threaten to keep it unless she stays silent. Silas sides with Alina's birthday over their decade-long promise, leaving Briar bitterly disappointed. When she still tries to go, they decide to tie her up for the night.

Briar struggles against her bindings, but the others dismiss her as a drama queen and leave her tied up. They promise to let her down when they return and mock that they will spend her share for her. Alone in the dark, Briar wonders if she is about to die again.

Rescued by Nova, Briar speaks with her parents and resolves not to stop Silas and the others from drinking. She decides to watch them ruin their own chances before the trial.

Alina taunts Briar that Silas tore up her recommendation letter and is sick of her. Briar tries to stay calm, then learns from her father that the entire Maple Glint flight has blood tonus poisoning and needs stomach pumping. She realizes they lost control the moment she left.

Briar learns the entire Maple Glint flight is in the Healer Tower with blood tonus poisoning after drinking the night before. With the academy's reputation on the line, the coach decides to forfeit, but Briar is told to lead the substitutes as tactic weaver against Xavier Soler of the Shadow Saints.

Briar leads the substitutes against Xavier, spotting his trap and saving her dragons, but the match ends in humiliation. The Arbiter Wings declare no one from Maple Glint will receive an offer, and the academy expels everyone who broke the code the night before.

Facing expulsion over the drinking scandal, Silas panics until Alina suggests pinning everything on Briar. Silas agrees, confident Briar will do whatever he says. At the assembly, the Headmaster expels Silas and Alina, and they immediately accuse Briar of pressuring everyone to drink.

Alina tells the assembly that Briar drugged everyone at her birthday party and had her father withhold treatment. Silas publicly supports the lie, adding that Briar has always been jealous of Alina and that her father refused to heal them. The crowd turns on Briar, calling her and her father heartless monsters.
