My Dad Is the Crown Prince
To escape her father selling her to pay a debt, young Brenna flees overnight and, on a rainy night, runs into Prince Edmund, who is out looking for asthma medicine. The two unexpectedly spend a night together, then go their separate ways. Seven years later, Brenna is raising her son Mark alone. Her greedy father and brother come again to seize money and hurt Mark, and Edmund appears in time to save mother and son. The two reach an agreement: she will take Mark and pretend to be his wife and child, entering the palace for the king's birthday banquet. Edmund's elder brother Eric and sister-in-law Sylvia, out of jealousy, keep making things difficult for them, and even invite the high priest, attempting to verify royal blood with a trial of sacred fire. Mother and son fall into danger, and the truth of the bloodline left by that night years ago is about to be exposed.
