Stars Fall Into Frost

Su Wan tells her supervisor she is pregnant and resigns to raise the child by herself. The supervisor approves her resignation despite concerns about single motherhood. Su Wan touches her belly and promises her unborn babies she will always be with them.

Su Wan picks up Zirui and Zixuan from school and learns they were mocked for their heterochromatic eyes and called fatherless. A doctor confirms their eyes are healthy and likely inherited from their father. Su Wan comforts them, saying their father works far away and their eyes are the most special stars.

Su Wan sends Zirui and Zixuan to school. The children urge her to eat, and she reflects on being disowned by her family five years ago for her unplanned pregnancy, finding solace in her children's thoughtfulness. A luxury convoy from Huangyu Group arrives at the school, reportedly to select gifted children for a charity banquet, and a man approaches Zirui.

Su Zirui is pushed to the ground at the school gate. Assistant Zhou asks his name, and the boy identifies himself and his sister Su Zixuan. Chen Lili publicly shames Su Wan for having children out of wedlock and says she removed them from the charity banquet list. Li Mochen notices Zirui's heterochromatic eyes match his own.

Zhou Tezhu notices Su Zirui's heterochromatic eyes are identical to Li Mochen's and wonders if the children are the ones Li has been searching for. Chen Lili and other parents call the children illegitimate and demand the school expel them, creating an uproar.

Su Wan apologizes to Zhou Tezhu and begs him not to take it out on the school. Chen Lili rallies the parents to keep insulting the children, and the principal announces Su Zirui and Su Zixuan are expelled. Zhou Tezhu then challenges the principal, asking what gives him the right to expel them.

Zhou Tezhu apologizes for the earlier uproar and notes the children share Li Mochen's heterochromatic eyes and manner. He formally invites Su Zirui and Su Zixuan to attend tomorrow's charity gala as child representatives. Su Wan initially refuses but ultimately agrees. Meanwhile, Li Mochen presses Dr. Lin to keep searching for the woman from the penthouse suite five years ago.

Su Wan brings Su Zirui and Su Zixuan to the charity gala and tells them to behave. Former classmate Chen Lili publicly mocks Su Wan for having children with a stranger at a hotel five years ago and calls the children bastards. The twins bite Chen Lili to defend their mother.
