Our Daughter Pacifies Rivers and Mountains

At the Ye family training ground, Ye Yaozu demonstrates the clan's secret technique. Ye Lingwei watches in secret until her mother Gu Xingrou pulls her away, warning that a woman caught learning martial arts will have her limbs broken. Lingwei's innate talent does not go unnoticed—Grandmaster Ye Nantian observes her from the shadows.

The eldest daughter flees her abusive husband Sima Kuang and begs her father for a divorce. He refuses and has her forcibly returned to the Sima household to protect the family's political standing. Ye Lingwei denounces her father's cruelty and resolves to leave the Ye clan with her sister.

Ye Nantian orders his second daughter to marry into the Sima family. When Ye Lingwei protests, she is locked up. Her mother Gu Xingrou frees her and holds off the guards, enduring a brutal beating. Ye Lingwei flees alone as her mother cries out for her never to return.

Ye Lingwei intervenes when Sima Kuang's men try to abduct a woman, defeating them. An old man who claims to be one hundred years old admires her talent and character, reveals himself as Grandmaster Ye Nantian, and offers to take her as his disciple. She accepts and vows to return to the Ye family to save her mother.

Ye Nantian begins teaching Ye Lingwei the supreme Hunyuan Art, a nine-level technique that can shatter mountains and part seas. Back at the Ye household, Gu Xingrou is publicly humiliated by former clan members and appears broken in spirit.

Ye Lingwei reaches the Grandmaster realm under Ye Nantian's guidance and is entrusted with the Xia Yi Pavilion. She bids farewell to her master, vowing to return to the Ye clan during the grand tournament, seize the position of clan head, and bring justice to her humiliated mother, Gu Xingrou.

Ye Lingwei receives Marshal Chu Tian as the master of Xia Yi Pavilion. Reviewing a promotion list, she finds Qinzhou commander Sima Kuang guilty of tyranny and seizing women, and orders his immediate dismissal. She then hurries to the Ye clan, where Ye Yaozu presides over the tournament and prepares to step down as clan head.

Ye Yaozu defeats his challengers and his father declares him the new clan head. As the Ye family celebrates, a voice openly ridicules his strength, saying he is unfit to lead.

A stranger storms into the Ye family gathering, mocking them as worthless and declaring his intent to annex the clan. Ye Yaozu steps up to fight but is swiftly defeated. When Ye Nantian confronts the intruder, the man claims everyone present is trash, pushing the feud to a breaking point.

Ye Yaozu lies beaten and begs his father for revenge. The intruder taunts the entire Ye family, daring them to attack together and promising the clan leadership to anyone who can defeat him. No one steps forward.
