Bermuda Siren's Bride

During the voyage, the crew is startled by a sudden eerie glow. One man tries to leap overboard, insisting someone is waiting for him, and is forcibly restrained. No one answers the urgent questions, and the unknown call heightens the tension.

Kai refuses to untie the restrained man and reveals he is gay, breaking the female voice's call. In the depths, a voice notes the human cannot be called by women and orders a man sent instead, summoning her son Eli.

Kai realizes the newcomer from the deep is Eli, who admits he is the one who refused to answer the earlier call. Eli uses a single note to silence Kai's friend, and Kai admits he is afraid. Eli invites Kai to follow him, but Kai refuses and tries to stop him.

Kai discovers an unconscious man in Eli's domain who is still breathing. Eli admits he was not finished and plans to keep the man one more night before drowning him himself.

Kai demands to know what comes next, and the two face off on the shore. Eli says there is something below that Kai must see, then gives him a way to breathe underwater. Kai is shocked into unconsciousness.

Eli gives Kai a way to breathe underwater, leaving Kai shocked but wary. Under the sea, Eli insists there is something below that Kai must see, though Kai's trust remains unearned.

Kai refuses Eli's demand to come home, and their argument continues underwater. A new voice interrupts, claiming Eli cannot keep Kai and revealing that Eli already has a bride, leaving Kai with deeper questions.

The stranger delivers an ultimatum: Eli must marry by sunset or Kai will die. Kai confronts Eli over the hidden engagement, and Eli cannot deny it. Kai tries to leave, but Eli stops him, while the voice forces Eli to choose between the wedding and Kai's life.

Eli is commanded to marry and produce heirs, but he refuses the crown and declares he wants no bride or ceremony, choosing Kai instead. Kai appears and confronts him, and Eli admits he handled things badly. The enraged voice orders Kai to be fed, as both Eli and Kai cry out.
