The Triplets' Final Regret

On Elisa's eighteenth birthday, Jacob, Oliver and Nash hand the championship jersey to Amber instead and tell Elisa to back off in front of everyone. Rumors spread that she stole the class fund, and headmistress Catherine Lockhart calls her in to discuss her future as a human or vampire. For the first time, Elisa wonders if the triplets still want her around.

Catherine gives Elisa one week to decide between purification to stay human or transferring to night school as a vampire. Elisa recalls Amber framing her for stealing Catherine's watch, while Jacob, Oliver and Nash blamed her without question. Hurt by their coldness, Elisa resolves to become a vampire, asks Catherine to keep her choice secret, and quietly decides to set the triplets free.

Amber dumps Elisa's gifts as trash and snatches the handkerchief given by the triplets. When Elisa tries to take it back, Amber accuses her of violence, and the triplets side with Amber, demanding Elisa apologize or watch the keepsake burned.

Oliver burns the keepsake handkerchief in front of Elisa despite Jacob's attempt to intervene. When Elisa still refuses to apologize, she pulls out transfer papers instead, shocking the triplets and leaving her future with them suddenly uncertain.

Amber fakes an ankle injury to take Elisa's usual seat in the car, but the triplets insist on giving it back to her, bringing her favorite snacks to smooth things over. Amber bristles at being overruled, while Elisa's still-pending transfer papers leave her place with the triplets uncertain.

The triplets side with Amber, reminding Elisa that everything she owns was paid for by the Lockharts and she has no say in anything. Hurt and resigned, Elisa gives up her claim on them, then receives a call from Joseph, the Vampire Lord's butler, confirming her transfer is approved and a car will take her to the vampire school at sunset.

At the team's championship photo, the triplets nearly leave Elisa out, then repeat her signature celebration pose by lifting Amber instead. Watching this, Elisa realizes the memories she once treasured are no longer hers alone, and decides to tear the illusion apart.

After Amber accuses her publicly, the triplets pressure Elisa to apologize, and Jacob even strikes her. She refuses to admit fault, and Catherine tells her not to come home. Though Catherine later offers to protect her, Elisa has already decided to leave the Lockharts, and Catherine gives her the family heirloom, the Midnight Star, as the vampire lord's family prepares to take her in.

The triplets accuse Elisa of manipulating Catherine into giving her the Midnight Star necklace, but Catherine turns her anger on them and orders Amber out of her office. Jacob still calls Elisa an ungrateful thief. Elisa realizes this is her last day in the Lockhart world, and Amber later confronts her, accusing her of lying to Catherine.

Oliver pushes Elisa into the water, and when Amber tries to help, Elisa pulls her in too. The triplets focus only on saving Amber, ignoring that Elisa cannot swim and fears water. Only when Jacob spots blood does anyone realize she is still drowning, leaving Elisa done with all three of them.
