Nangong Jin offers Tang Yu 200 yuan a day to pose as his girlfriend for his mother's birthday, and she accepts. When he suggests turning the act into something real, she refuses, and he admits he admires a woman like the Future Group chairwoman. Tang Yu realizes he is actually her fan.

Tang Yu and Nangong Jin agree to keep their relationship strictly for show. He coaches her to hide her beggar past and claim her father runs a company while she earns a solid income. Secretly, she arranges a five-million-yuan birthday gift under Future Group's name. At the family banquet, god-daughter Zhou Moli makes a flashy entrance before Nangong Jin arrives home with Tang Yu.

Tang Yu's incredible stunt driving leaves the onlookers stunned, and someone immediately asks to become her disciple. After accepting the request, she reminds Nangong Jin that his mother's birthday banquet is the priority, and they depart.

The group questions why Tang Yu came back in a tractor if her family is wealthy. She says her family is too rich to need a car for appearances. Zhou Moli claims Tang Yu forced the car door open without a key, calls her a car thief, and says she will report it to the owner.

Zhou Moli questions Tang Yu being a car thief, and Nangong Jin vouches for her with his life. Zhou Moli then attacks Tang Yu's gift money, claiming she gave 50,000 as a god-daughter while Tang Yu only gave 10,000 as a daughter-in-law, unworthy of the Nangong family.

Zhou Moli mocks Tang Yu for bragging about a million-dollar gift when she cannot even afford a car. Tang Yu calls her secretary, learns the convoy has entered the village, and orders a fleet to show the narrow-minded what real wealth looks like.

A guest arrives by car at Nangong Jin's family gathering, and the onlookers wonder who it is. The visitor says he came for Nangong Jin and presents a gift for his mother's fiftieth birthday. Those present mock Nangong Jin, assuming the gift is worthless, and urge that the box be opened.

The crowd doubts her, but the timing of the call raises suspicion. Zhou Moli remembers the Dewang heiress is her god-sister and calls to verify, claiming someone is impersonating a backer to blacklist her.

Zhou Moli tells her god-sister Zhang Fan that someone is impersonating a Dewang Group backer and threatening to blacklist her. Zhang Fan is furious and decides to come in person to expose the impostor. Sun Xiaoxiao smugly tells Tang Yu to kneel and beg for mercy, but Tang Yu remains unmoved.

Zhang Fan arrives and demands to know who is impersonating a Dewang Group backer and blacklisting Zhou Moli. Sun Xiaoxiao and Zhou Moli point to Tang Yu. Zhang Fan, as the heir, orders Tang Yu to slap herself and apologize or be driven out of the province. Tang Yu retorts that Zhang Fan is unqualified to speak with her and threatens to make a call.

Zhang Fan insists her father Zhang Dewang is abroad with his phone off. She dials in front of everyone but cannot get through, using this to accuse Tang Yu of impersonating a Dewang Group backer.
