Taming My Five Beast Husbands

Luna offers her five beast husbands a deal: escort her to the northern border, and for each stretch of road she will give one drop of blood. Ten drops will break their bond. Silas refuses, saying he does not want out and wishes to stay and protect her.

Silas kneels before Luna, calling himself her dog. She cuts him off, saying that was the past, and tonight she will treat his silver poisoning. She heals him with a kiss, and he feels a warmth that confirms his desire for her.

Silas suspects Luna's kiss was a spell, his wound still unhealed. Lysander is trapped in a nightmare and loses control; Soren warns that killing their master would kill all five of them. Luna wakes gasping, her throat crushed, realizing someone choked her.

Luna wakes to find her wounds bandaged but clear finger marks on her throat. She calls everyone in and demands to know who attacked her. Silas admits it was him, says he bandaged her as thanks, and tells her to do what she wants with him.

Luna rides one of the beast husbands, offering a drop of blood for every two days on the road. Someone hands her a whip and urges her to strike, but she trembles and cannot do it. He recalls how she once beat him with a salt-soaked whip, and now she will not even touch him.

Luna wants to wash, but Silas reminds her she fears water because her father once dragged her into a river. He offers to accompany her and stands watch on the bank. Luna thanks him, and Silas wonders how someone can change overnight.

After falling into the water, Luna orders Lysander to help the others first and swims to shore on her own. She takes out Ramon's healing supplies and insists they treat themselves, then offers her own blood to restore their strength, leaving them stunned.

Bitten by a snake, Luna grits her teeth and refuses to complain. Lysander sees the venom remains and uses his saliva to activate the remedy, applying it to her wound. Her body trembles uncontrollably in response.

Luna drinks the warm broth Jasper prepares and thanks him for the meal. Soren brings up her promise to dissolve the bond with all of them once they reach her father. Luna confirms it, but Jasper says he does not want to break the bond.

Silas falls into a heat that herbs cannot ease. Luna learns she must help him herself, sends the others away, and tells him he is still her husband until the bond breaks. She guides him through it, and afterward he thanks her.
