Full-Time Househusband's Brilliant Counterattack

With only three days remaining on his covenant, Shion tells Cersei he will grant her freedom, predicting she will one day regret her disdain. As he says goodbye, an untamable wyron lands before him, and onlookers hail the return of the savior.

An insolent man insults Shion and is banished by Grandfather Kaeru. Inside, Kaeru meets a figure he has not seen in a century and begs him to grant a soul covenant to his granddaughter, hoping to save House Marissa.

Arthur drinks too much, and Cersei mocks him as a loser and a useless shadow. Shion reveals the truth to himself: Cersei believes he manipulated Kaeru to steal the family fortune, unaware that House Marissa survives only because of him. Once his debt to Kaeru is repaid, he will vanish.

Cersei tells Arthur that Shion is a con man who tricked her grandfather. Alone, Shion reflects that Kaeru believed he and Cersei were in love, but Kaeru never understood his granddaughter. He approaches Cersei and declares it is time to part.

Cersei dismisses Shion as a useless stablehand compared to the dragon knight Arthur. Arthur arrives early to surprise Cersei for her birthday, but she acts distant. Shion interrupts their reunion by offering to prepare a room for Arthur.

Arthur meets Shion and questions whether he is the husband bound to Cersei by a soul covenant, dismissing him as a mere stablehand. Cersei sides with Arthur and warns Shion to leave if he keeps causing trouble. Shion calmly says he is already on his way out, while Arthur privately threatens to drive him away for good.

Arthur hosts a party where the guests openly mock Shion, calling him a stablehand and a useless husband. Cersei joins in, comparing him to a trained dog and hinting at her past love for Arthur. Shion endures in silence, reminding himself that the covenant ends in just one day.

At the party, Lumi and Ria press Cersei for the secret to making Shion so obedient. Cersei reveals she has kept him in the servants' quarters for three years and never shared her bed. The guests chant for Cersei to kiss Arthur, and Arthur plays along. Shion steps in, declaring Cersei is still his wife, only to be mocked for his stablehand smell and scolded by Cersei for ruining the mood.

Cersei forces Shion to drink an entire bottle of wine, knowing alcohol is poison to him. Shion warns that drinking will erase his magic and leave only his mana core, but she does not relent. After he collapses, Cersei rushes to the injured Arthur, yet feels an inexplicable ache when she looks at Shion.

After a full day unconscious, Shion wakes with his mana nearly drained. Cersei stays by Arthur's side, and a doctor warns her that Shion's condition is critical. Shion coldly calls out her feigned concern and asks if she was the one who forced him to drink, leaving Cersei with an inexplicable ache in her chest.

Cersei's parents arrive and, seeing Arthur wounded, demand that Shion apologize. Cersei briefly defends her husband but ultimately leaves to care for Arthur. Later, a visitor urges Shion to reveal himself as the savior, and he replies that it will happen after the divorce.

Arthur arrives at the house and tells Cersei he found a relic of the savior, using it to protect House Marissa. Cersei believes him completely, thanking him while berating Shion as useless. Shion watches in silence, amused that everyone is fooled by the lie.

Cersei accuses Shion of trying to poison Arthur by adding an allergen to the food, claiming he is jealous. She berates him as useless and demands a divorce, ordering him to leave House Marissa immediately.
