The Fake Young Lady's Self-Destruct Drama

Allison achieves an S-rank on her magic aptitude test, but her grandfather George worries they cannot afford Augusta Royal Academy. Butler Winston of House Ashforth arrives, claiming Allison is the family's long-lost daughter, and she agrees to go with him, planning to use the opportunity to learn magic and enter Augusta.

Allison arrives at House Ashforth. Victoria weeps, claiming she is being driven out. Raymond defends his sister and demands Allison apologize at once. Victoria then tells Allison she is free to leave.

Back at House Ashforth, Victoria takes the blame for the earlier commotion. Lord Keene orders Victoria to take Allison to Augusta tomorrow to learn etiquette. Allison confronts Keene about failing to stop Raymond, but he simply assigns her the best room. Alone, Allison reflects that the family is strange and is glad she was not raised there.

Victoria and Raymond are supposed to take Allison to Augusta, but Raymond, unwilling to even look at her, drives off without her. Stranded and late, Allison accepts a ride from a stranger who turns out to be Kyle, the magical prodigy of House Magner. She recognizes him and immediately marks him as her biggest rival in the upcoming exam.

Allison arrives at Augusta Academy. Kyle gives her a way to contact him before leaving. Victoria tells Professor Victor that Allison is a maid's daughter with poor magical control. The professor informs Allison she is below the preparatory class level and will be expelled if she places last in the test.

Allison joins the preparatory class. Professor Anna announces an afternoon magic assessment for everyone. Victoria mocks Allison's poor control and reveals that Professor Victor has declared Allison will be expelled if she places last. Allison insists on taking the test to see where she stands.

Professor Anna announces the assessment will be in pairs, with summoned beasts fighting on stage. Victoria approaches Allison to partner up, claiming her own magic is strong and telling Allison to just do her best. She reveals that her mother Cecilia will attend as a special guest and warns Allison will see the gap between them on stage.

Allison meets Cecilia at the arena, and Winston explains she grew up in the human world and is unfamiliar with noble customs. Cecilia promises to look after her and invites her to watch the matches together. Victoria and Allison's duel is then officially announced.

Victoria boasts she can beat Allison blindfolded and summons an Eagle Sentinel. Allison then summons her own creature, Plumnex, surprising the onlookers as the duel begins.
