My Super X-Ray Vision

Clerk Michael spots a flaw in a half-million-dollar watch and recognizes the casually dressed Mr. Coulson, the new owner of LVMX. When armed robbers storm the store, Michael calmly counts down from five, using his x-ray vision to turn the tables.

Michael tells Coulson he plans to transfer to Maple Valley High to surprise his girlfriend Kelly, and has arranged for influencer Ava Shaw to enroll there too. His x-ray vision spirals out of control after heavy use, and Ava publicly declares Michael her new boyfriend.

Ava mistakes Michael for the fake boyfriend she hired, but he clarifies he already has a girlfriend. Using his x-ray vision, he sees her sore throat is far more serious and warns she will die within ten minutes without immediate medical attention. Skeptical but unsettled, Ava calls her personal doctor.

Michael tries to surprise Kelly, only to find her with wealthy Barry Dawes, who mocks him openly. Meanwhile, Ava's doctor removes a life-threatening fish bone from her throat, confirming Michael's prediction. Stunned, Ava resolves to find him immediately.

Kelly mocks Michael for being poor and flaunts that Barry connected her with Ava Shaw. Michael fires back that his watch is worth more than her house, but Kelly dismisses him, saying they come from different worlds. A grateful Ava finds Michael and presses him for an explanation, leading him to reveal he has x-ray vision.

Michael reveals he was born with x-ray vision. After learning he was just dumped, Ava offers him ten thousand dollars to pose as her boyfriend, starting with a welcome party that night.

Michael is mocked at the party entrance until Ava arrives, declares him her boyfriend, and threatens to destroy anyone who crosses them. She steps away for a call, and Michael walks in alone, running straight into his ex Kelly and her new boyfriend Barry, who is stunned to see him.

Michael walks in alone and is immediately confronted by Kelly, Barry, and their crowd. They mock his appearance, accuse him of trespassing, and refuse to believe he is Ava Shaw's plus one. Michael fires back, warning them that insulting Ava's date is a dangerous move.

Kelly and Barry insist the purse Michael is holding is a cheap fake and mock him for pretending to be Ava's date. Kelly shoves the purse into a toilet, claiming she wants to wash it, while Michael warns her not to get it dirty.

Kelly and Barry move to shove Michael into the toilet. Michael gives a final warning and counts down from three. As he finishes, Ava Shaw appears and demands to know if they realize who he is.
