Married to a Hidden Fortune

Annie marries a plumber to stay, unaware he runs a vast business empire. Leonardo's son William is busy finding his father a wife, but Leonardo insists William marry first. Annie saves William on her way to visit her son, and William immediately tries to set her up with his dad.

William argues fiercely with his wife Selena over letting his mother Annie stay. Selena insults Annie's background and threatens to throw them both out. To spare her son more trouble, Annie leaves on her own, only to realize she has nowhere to go. William then shows Annie a photo of his father Leonardo and says he has set up a date for them.

Leonardo buys a worker's uniform before the date to disguise his identity. During the meeting, he calls himself a plumber with unstable income, and Annie says she sells sandwiches at a construction site. After she mends his jacket, Leonardo proposes marriage on the spot.

Annie tells her son William she got married. He replies coldly that she won't need to mooch off them anymore. Leonardo admits to his adopted daughter Rebecca that he hasn't revealed his true identity to Annie yet, and Rebecca calls it fraud, but he insists on waiting for the right moment.

Leonardo asks his assistant Sam to find a small 80-square-meter apartment to match his plumber cover. Annie shows him the place, finds it tidy and lovely, and offers to cook. During their conversation, Leonardo reveals he has an adopted daughter, and Annie mentions her own daughter who got lost at age four.

When Annie mentions her lost daughter, Leonardo orders Sam to print tens of thousands of missing posters and blanket Los Angeles. The two plan a supermarket trip, and Leonardo insists on buying formula for Annie's granddaughter. Annie delivers the formula, but Selena calls it cheap junk and tells her to take it back.

William apologizes for Selena's rudeness and invites Annie to Susan's first birthday party. Back home, Leonardo makes Annie a glass of formula and learns about the party. When Annie mentions she wants to buy a gemstone necklace for Susan, Leonardo offers to go with her.

Annie and Leonardo visit a jewelry store to buy a necklace for Susan. The clerk mocks their appearance and says the cheapest item costs thirty thousand dollars. As Annie tries to leave, Leonardo reveals a Centurion black card, stunning the clerk.

The clerk claims Leonardo's card is fake and threatens to call the police. The manager arrives, apologizes, and offers the necklace and a gemstone bracelet for free. He fires the clerk on the spot and reveals Leonardo is the chairman of Windsor Group.

Rebecca brings Annie new clothes. Annie protests the price, but Rebecca insists they are cheap. Leonardo postpones a billion-dollar deal to accompany his wife to their granddaughter's birthday party, and orders Sam to award a thirty-million-dollar hotel project to Annie's in-law, Jack.
