Episode 1 · Opening Hook & Encounter
The Duke’s Nanny
Elena, a low-ranking baby nurse, is thrust into the ruthless House of Thorne, where servants are discarded as freeloaders and the duke’s household runs on fear and status. Ordered about by city guards and cold-eyed nobles—including Reynold Thorne—she must prove she belongs among people who see her as disposable. As she shields the family’s children and refuses to swallow their lies, her quiet competence begins to unsettle the hierarchy she was hired to serve. Desire, duty, and class collide inside the castle walls as Elena fights for dignity in a world built to crush her.
