The mob boss spoils his pregnant wife

Lily arrives for an assistant job but is ordered to perform. Damon watches coldly, decides she is no different from the rest, and Lily sees no other choice for the half million.

Damon humiliates Lily in public, threatening to degrade her in front of everyone. He tosses her an expensive watch and orders her to take it and vanish. Lily is left reeling, realizing how far she has fallen just for a job.

Lily learns she is carrying twins but is warned that her uterine wall is dangerously thin, and a miscarriage would leave her unable to bear children again. She resolves to protect them alone. Her father then tries to hand her over to a loan shark to clear her brother Jason's drug debt, forcing Lily to reveal her pregnancy in desperation.

The loan shark rejects Lily for being pregnant and beats Jason, threatening to take his leg next time. Her father blames her for getting pregnant instead of saving her brother, and Lily fires back that he tried to sell his own daughter. He throws her out, and she leaves alone, determined to make it for her twins.

Seven months pregnant, Lily works the bar and endures mockery from patrons before being shoved away from a VIP. She collapses in pain and calls out for Damon to save their baby, and the sound of her voice stops him cold.

After collapsing, Lily is taken to the hospital. Damon orders his men to give her five grand and let her go. The doctor finds her malnourished with a high risk of early delivery, requiring injections and a hospital stay that will cost six thousand out of pocket.

Lily tries to pay the hospital bill with the money from Damon's men but her card is declined. She calls her mother and learns her savings have been drained again — this time to cover her brother Jason's latest thirty-grand drug debt.

Lily's mother demands more money for Jason's drug habit, ignoring Lily's plea that she is bleeding and needs it for her baby. Meanwhile, Damon's grandmother recognizes his watch and orders him to find and marry the woman he cast out. At the hospital, Lily hemorrhages and is rushed into labor, clutching Damon's watch.

An older woman pays Lily's hospital bill and receives Damon's watch in return. She recognizes it as one of a kind and suspects Damon's name is engraved on the back, then tucks it away to reassure Lily. Damon arrives at the hospital and is directed to the same ward.
