The Cleaner's Revenge

After defeating Marcus's men in the arena, Leon finds the same brand from his family's massacre on one of the attackers. He demands the organization's whereabouts, and a bystander suddenly mentions the name Pluto.

Leon is mocked by two gladiators in the training yard, but his hidden strength accidentally cracks an ancient stone tablet, alarming onlookers. Arya learns that Marcus's top killer, Seth Vane, has delivered a takeover challenge, and they will fight for control of the arena tomorrow.

Two recruits flee, leaving Arya's gladiator school short a fighter. The others mock Leon as a useless cleaner, but Arya insists he take the empty slot. To repay her kindness, Leon agrees to face the Titans in the arena.

Marcus storms the arena and gives Arya two choices: hand over her assets or face a deathmatch. Her school cannot field six fighters, and her best gladiator Carter is still injured. As everyone mocks Leon as a slave who shovels beast dung, Arya insists he will be their sixth man.

The gladiators mock Leon for having no inner force, and Marcus humiliates Arya in public. Leon spots a familiar brand on Marcus—the same mark from the massacre of his family fifteen years ago—and his killing intent ignites.

Leon refuses to fight but instantly reads Max's roar pressure wave, warning that attacking will break his own guard. Carter volunteers, and Arya positions Dexter and Rufus to support him. Marcus is intrigued that a janitor saw the weakness first, and Max's attack fails to move Carter.

Max shatters Carter with one strike and mocks Ludus Mars as all flash. Dexter and Rufus move to attack together, but Leon stops them, saying they will only end up with more broken legs. Marcus notices something strange in Leon's eyes but detects no divine blood.

Max crushes Arya's gladiators and Marcus demands she surrender and become his caged songbird. Arya refuses to kneel, but Leon suddenly loses control. She steps in front of him and vows that no one will touch him as long as she breathes.

Max mocks Arya's injured hand and declares she will serve Marcus tonight. Just as he gloats, someone blindsides him. Leon stands over the wounded Arya and tells Max to fight him instead.
