Mated to My Alpha Enemy

Jason posts a flawless hunt, tying with his rival Andrew. The academy sets a falcon chase to break the tie, but Andrew skips the bird, pins Jason down, and calls him too easy to read. During the pursuit, Jason nearly falls off a drop, and Andrew saves him.

Andrew pulls Jason back from the drop but breaks his leg in the process. Jason carries him out, insisting they are even, but Andrew blurts that he wants to put his mark on him, then swallows the rest of his words.

Andrew states he wants to put his mark on Jason, who protests that he is straight and intends to pursue Nina. Andrew hints that Nina prefers his company, so Jason declares he will ask her out as soon as he is named captain. At night, Jason builds a fire and Andrew strips off his wet clothes to dry them; Jason looks away and Andrew calls him out for blushing.

Jason denies blushing and strips to prove his muscles rival Andrew's, inviting him to touch. Andrew obliges and calls him not bad, while Jason says he trains daily to show off for Nina. Andrew then asks if Jason knows how sensitive he is and says Jason has made him hard.

Andrew confesses he thinks about Jason every night before sleep. Jason threatens to kill him if he touches him again. Their pheromones begin to merge, and Andrew realizes the legend is true—two alphas can bond, and Jason is his fated mate.

Jason accompanies Andrew to have his leg examined. The doctor diagnoses a hairline fracture and orders a month of rest, which clashes with the upcoming match against Blackstone Academy. Andrew suggests Jason lead the team, but Jason refuses the handout. Their instructor then orders Jason to be on round-the-clock Andrew duty until he heals, leaving Jason furious.

Jason protests caring for Andrew, but the coach cites team code and the fact that Andrew was hurt saving him. When Nina offers to take over, Jason's jealousy flares and he shuts her down. He reluctantly accepts the duty, only to learn he must move into Andrew's dorm for round-the-clock care, while Andrew privately vows to make Jason his before the month ends.

Jason moves into Andrew's dorm and is surprised by how tidy it is. Andrew claims doctor's orders and asks Jason to help him bathe, starting with his clothes. Jason reluctantly agrees, but while struggling with the belt, Andrew teases him about making a move on the helpless.
