The Wolf Princess Won't Return

Evie, a wolfless servant for three years, is finally picked up by her alpha family, only to be accused of harming her grandmother. She insists Amelia is responsible, but no one believes her, and she is immediately sent to the wolf military academy.

Evie returns home and immediately clashes with her family. Her mother fusses over her, but Evie pushes her away. The family accuses Evie of putting her grandmother in a coma and showing no remorse. When her mother asks her to hide the truth at her grandfather's birthday dinner, Evie refuses and declares they are no longer her parents.

Evie's family berates her for ingratitude, with her mother trying and failing to calm the confrontation. Forced to attend her grandfather's birthday dinner, Evie comes face to face with her fated mate Levi, who keeps his distance.

While helping Evie change, maid Claire discovers her back is covered in bruises and threatens to report it to the Alpha King and Luna, but Evie stops her. Later, Evie hesitates to wear a dress that once belonged to Amelia, drawing fresh scorn from her family.

Evie arrives at the banquet in servant's clothes and is mocked for trying to ride with the Luna. Grandpa Callan sees how thin she has become and demands to know if the family has mistreated her, but Evie denies it. The family then proposes marrying Amelia to Levi, enraging Callan, who reminds them Levi is Evie's fated mate.

Grandpa Callan overrules the family and insists the engagement to Levi is Evie's choice. Amelia's mother tells Evie to present a birthday gift to Callan, then publicly scolds her for lacking etiquette when she complies.

After Evie falls ill, Amelia follows her and mocks her for clinging to the alpha princess title. She accuses Evie of feeling no guilt over harming their grandmother and declares she will teach her a lesson herself.

Amelia is burned and Aiden accuses Evie of attacking her again, demanding punishment under royal law. Amelia defends Evie, but Aiden insists Evie is jealous of the wedding. Grandfather believes Evie, prompting Aiden to accuse him of favoritism, until their father demands Evie prove her innocence on the spot.

Aiden forces Evie to apologize to Amelia while their father threatens to disown her. Evie breaks down and reveals the horrors she endured at the Wolf Military Academy — wolves set on her, tied to a tree for three days, forced to drink toilet water — all while her family celebrated Amelia's birthday. Grandfather is stunned, but Aiden remains unmoved.

Her father and Aiden brand Evie a pathological liar and demand she apologize to Amelia or be disowned. Evie insists she did nothing wrong. As her father whips her, Grandfather Callan shouts for him to stop, but Aiden still blames Evie.
