Part 2
[Gossip / celebrity dating] On Oct 18, 2026 (Asia/Shanghai evening), "dakota johnson" sat at #1 on Google Trends Germany (500+) with German headlines about Machine Gun Kelly spending the night at her house. The underlying story broke in U.S. tabloids on Oct 16. This recap sticks to what Page Six, Hello Magazine and Yahoo Entertainment have published.
What was photographed
Page Six reported on Oct 16 that it obtained photos and video from Thursday night, Oct 15: Dakota Johnson, 37, waited outside an LA recording studio in an oversized leopard-print coat, then got into Machine Gun Kelly's (Colson Baker, 36) sports car after he cleared the passenger seat. Page Six also published pictures of that car still parked outside Johnson's home on Friday morning, Oct 16. Hello Magazine and Yahoo Entertainment repeated the same timeline the same day.
Context outlets already reported
The pair were also seen earlier that week at Hollywood speakeasy Say Yes, per Page Six. Romance rumors first spiked in early September when they were photographed heading into Taylor Swift's Tribeca apartment before dinner at Estela; a Page Six source at the time described "chemistry" and said Baker wanted to see Johnson again. Outlets say they first met at Swift's wedding in July. Johnson was also photographed front-row at Vogue World 2026: Milano where MGK performed (Sept 22).
What is still unconfirmed
Neither Johnson nor Baker has publicly confirmed a relationship. Page Six notes it is unclear from the car photos alone whether he actually slept over. Anonymous "attraction" quotes are attributed to unnamed sources and are not treated here as fact about either person's private life beyond what those outlets printed.
Relationship background (already public)
Coverage notes Johnson split from Chris Martin in June 2025, and that Baker previously dated Megan Fox; Fox has been quoted in secondary outlets as wishing them well on co-parenting terms. Those points are background only.
