What was reported
Page Six said on Oct 16 that sources confirmed Cyrus, 65, "popped the question" to Hurley, 61, after more than a year of dating. TMZ followed the same day, citing Page Six, and said it had reached out to both stars' reps with no reply yet. Neither star has made a formal announcement.
The clues
On Monday, Oct 12, Hurley posted behind-the-scenes photos from her first day on set of The 'Burbs season 2 with a diamond ring on her left ring finger, per Us Weekly and People. On Thursday, Oct 15, Cyrus captioned an Instagram post "Kinda has a ring 💍 to it", and Hurley's son Damian reacted with a celebration emoji, according to Page Six and TMZ.
How they met
The two met in 2022 while filming the holiday movie Christmas in Paradise on the Caribbean island of Nevis, and reconnected in February 2025. They went public on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, with a joint Instagram photo, and made their red-carpet debut in Rome in May 2025 (Page Six, People).
What's next
No wedding date has been reported. TMZ notes it would be Cyrus's fourth marriage and Hurley's second. Some outlets are running anonymous-insider wedding plans; those are unconfirmed and not repeated here.
