The line everyone clipped came from a rapid-fire round. Salman joked about their "longest living affair." It was banter between two co-stars who made several films together in the 1990s, delivered for laughs. It wasn't a revelation about their private lives, and it was reported as a playful quip.
Single by choice
On the question fans have asked for decades, the summaries say Salman described himself as staying single by choice, and said he'd still like to have children someday. That's about as direct an answer as he has given on a talk show, and it's why the episode sent searches up again.
